Maternity sessions are quickly becoming some of my favorites.  I get to photograph them year round as babies tend not to make plans.  I love the anticipation of the impending arrival of a newborn.  As a mother of three, pregnancy certainly isn’t easy.  Between the morning sickness (or in my case, all day sickness) and the back aches, it can be difficult.  However, baby kicks and a growing belly make it all worth it!

I have photographed this lovely family ever since big sis McKenzie was a newborn.  Between her newborn session, milestone sessions, and family sessions, I have been blessed to capture their family multiple times. They are incredibly sweet and McKenzie keeps me laughing the whole time.

Minnesota has brutal winters, but I love being able to embrace the beauty that only comes with the harsher months.  We lucked out to have some snow but also still some beautiful fall colors.
